Misplaced

The series "Misplaced" visually explores the subjective state of depressive mood disorders

and thereby feeling without energy, in discord and overwhelmed.

To express and visualize this tiresome mindset and strong internal struggle Kevin Ramolla is

experimentally playing with elements of absurdity and surrealism. 

​

In various scenarios the protagonist finds her/himself out of natural context with the physical surroundings. And what seems like a desperate attempt of assimilation at first sight is rather to

be understood as a symbol of expressive misplacement and an ongoing defeat in the eyes of

the inner black hole.
